Job Description
  • Performance analysis and tuning on Oracle RAC, GRID, Clustware, ASM & Exadata.
  • SQL Query tuning & PL/SQL tuning.
  • Provide and implement performance tuning recommendations of all components in the Database machines.
  • Advise, provide guidance and develop Disaster Recovery strategies for these Database machines.
  • Provide business as usual data structure manipulation (add, remove, modify storage) in the Database machine.
  • Develop and record certified processes/procedures for all potential IT downstream support groups to maintain the Database machines. 
  • Taking care of maintenance and administration tasks in Database Management projects and continuous services. 
  • Production issues fixing and implementation for Oracle DB administration.
  • Working on incident management, problem management and change management.
  • Handling 2nd & 3rd level service support for customer databases in production.
